We present this publication intending to provide a comprehensive study to describe the transformation, development, and contribution of the family foundations for sustainable development in Indonesia.Various data and innovations of the family foundations are summarized in this publication. The family foundation, as one of the philanthropy actors, has transformed into an independent foundation and separated from the founding company. This transformation is carried out to preserve the independence of the family foundation, which has become a positive trend in philanthropic sectors.
