Filantropi Indonesia, Koalisi Seni Indonesia and Ganara Art has organized a sharing session on Thursday, July 19th 2018 with the theme “Build a Critical Thinking Ability and Social Inclusivity for Young People in Indonesia through Mari Berbagi Seni” which was attended by representatives of Filantropi Indonesia members and partners. Took place in Ganara Art Space, the event started with a disclosure of vision and mission as well as program ran by Ganara Art.

Mari Berbagi Seni (Lets share art) is the featured agenda from Ganara Art in which aims to educate children through art. This program has been conducted in a number of schools in several cities in Indonesia. Support also has been given by Dr. Dilmar Farid as a General Director of Culture. He expressed that for children, art will grow their creativity as well as freedom of expression.

Next session, the participants were invited to draw three objects which has been placed in every table there. After that, the participants were asked to describe the name from each object they have drawn. The result, the answers from participants are varied, because it came from only one perspective. It teaches us that through art, we will learn many things including perspective on how to see other people. To give new experience, after dinner the participants were invited to Ganara Art workshop where they learned briefly on how to make some art objects.
