The United Nations lnformation Centre (UNIC) and 2030 Youth Force lndonesia cordially invite you to a public forum on the '2017 UN Youth Empowerment on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" on 5 December 2017 at 09:30 am at the Jakarta Creative Hub.

The forum will introduce various innovative youth initiatives on the SDGs to solicit interest and develop partnerships to implement the programmes.

Twenty-five finalists have been selected to share their innovative initiatives with a diverse audience to demonstrate how youth can take a lead in planning and developing programmes to benefit iommunities and thereby contribute to the achievement of the SDGs.

The forum will empower youth to articulate their interests, concerns and ideas, leading to concrete support from various stakeholders, including Government, philanthropy, private sector, media and international organizations. Furthermore, it will be an opportunity for the youth to showcase how they can actively contribute to the development process in the country. The platform will also be an opportunity for youth to receive guidance and mentorship from numerous stakeholders on various areas of mutual interest. The 2017 UN Youth Empowerment on the Sustainable Development Goals by UNIC and 2030 Youth Force lndonesia contributes to the country's higher education pillars- Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi- to emphasize the role of students in the development process.
