PSHK, in cooperation with the Indonesian Philanthropy Association (FI) and Knowledge Sector Initiative (KSI), conducted a research on tax incentives for philanthropy activities. As part of the study, PSHK intends to hold a Focus Group Discussion for comments, opinions, and proposals from sources who are considered to have the knowledge and experience, particularly on issues of tax incentives implementation in Indonesia. FGD results will be followed up by PSHK team and are expected to contribute to the development of a clear policy of tax incentives for philanthropy, widely accessible, and can be used effectively by stakeholders. Furthermore, this research report is also expected to be adopted by policy makers in order to create a conducive environment for philanthropy in Indonesia.
The purpose of this activity to obtain feedback, opinions, and proposals of the participants in order to create an alternative solution to the problems of tax incentives implementation for philanthropy in Indonesia. The results of this research report is expected to become a reference in policy changes related to tax incentives for philanthropy in Indonesia.
The Focus Group Discussion will have 20 (twenty) participants. The resource consists of those who work as policy makers, practitioners, non-profit organizations, philanthropic institutions, and donors.
