Description

In Collaboration with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, the Indonesia Philanthropy Association proudly present the Philanthropy Trend 2022: Transformation and Development of Family Foundations to Support Sustainable Development in Indonesia During COVID-19 Pandemic. We present this publication intending to provide a comprehensive study to describe the transformation, development, and contribution of the family foundations for sustainable development in Indonesia.Various data and innovations of the family foundations are summarized in this publication. The family foundation, as one of the philanthropy actors, has transformed into an independent foundation and separated from the founding company. This transformation is carried out to preserve the independence of the family foundation, which has become a positive trend in philanthropic sectors. Entering the decades of action, the family foundation can become a catalyst for the development of co-creation and collaboration through collective action with other stakeholders to strengthen the ecosystem and accelerate the achievement of the SDGs
