Jurisdictional Prospects for Achieving SDGs Related to Climate Action and Terrestrial Ecosystems: A Case Study in Siak Regency, Riau

This case study aims to illustrate the importance of sustainable productivity improvements in Indonesia's strategic forests, particularly in Siak Regency. Information on the background of various initiatives from Indonesia, as well as from Riau Province and Siak Regency, will be presented with an emphasis on the current status of strategic forests and existing initiatives at the provincial and regency levels. Furthermore, it highlights the various stakeholders who have been involved so far, along with opportunities and recommendations for sustainable investment in the region.

By presenting a series of facts and findings, it invites readers to contribute to these efforts using a jurisdictional approach, holistic sustainability, multi-business, multi-commodity, and multi-stakeholder perspectives.
