This case study aims to illustrate the importance of continuously improving the productivity of strategic forests in Indonesia, particularly in Seruyan Regency. Information on the background of various initiatives from Indonesia, as well as from Central Kalimantan Province and Seruyan Regency, will be presented with an emphasis on the current status of strategic forests and the existing initiatives at the provincial and regency levels. Furthermore, it highlights the various stakeholders who have been involved so far, along with opportunities and recommendations for sustainable investment in the region.

By presenting a series of facts and findings, it invites readers to contribute to these efforts using a jurisdictional approach, holistic sustainability, multi-business, multi-commodity, and multi-stakeholder perspectives.
