Guidelines for Integrated Sustainability Reporting for the Philanthropy and Non-Profit Sector
Over the last few years, Filantropi Indonesia has pushed for the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs to become a common tool or platform for philanthropic and non-profit organizations to ensure their programs are more targeted, measurable, and contribute to national and global development.
Organizations should align their programs with commitment, practices, and the organization's internal contribution to sustainability issues. This alignment effort can be made through sustainability reporting as a non-financial reporting that encourages organizations to be transparent and accountable for their commitment and support for sustainability issues.
Currently, the standard widely used in the development of sustainability reporting is the sustainability reporting standard developed by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). For integrated sustainability reporting standards to be easily understood and applied, Filantropi Indonesia compiles and publishes a guidebook for preparing sustainability reports for philanthropic/non-profit organizations.
