NEXT GENEROUSion – Young Philanthropists Festival 2019 is held to facilitate and promote various youth philanthropic activities that have been thriving in recent years. Youth, especially millennials, start to see philanthropy as lifestyle by establishing foundations or communities to develop social programs that are of their interests or concerns. Others become supporters, volunteers, donors, and influencers in many social organizations.

Through this festival, Filantropi Indonesia sets to educate and inspire youth that they don’t need to wait until they are older and more wealthy to become philanthropists or good-doers. Everyone can be a philanthropist early on by getting involved in and supporting various social initiatives. The role and involvement of youth, especially millennials, in philanthropic activities needs to be encouraged because they have potentials to become donors, volunteers, and supporters of philanthropic activities in the future. With the theme "Young, Caring, Providing Solutions", NEXT GENEROUSion involved youth communities, philanthropic foundations/organizations, non-profit organizations, and companies that support youth's social initiatives. This festival featured various activities, such as Young Philanthropists Hall (exhibition/marketplace), Philanthropy Inspiration Stage, Action and Solution Talk, Digital Fundraising Campaign: PEDOELI INDONESIA, Charity Corner, student social competition and social projects.
