The East Bali Poverty Project (EBPP/Yayasan Ekoturisme Indonesia) is a non-profit organization founded in 1998 to assist an isolated mountain village in Bali suffering from extreme poverty and lacking essential services. The initiative started with a focus on education and expanded to encompass healthcare, water supply, sanitation, and various environmental projects. Their approach is empowering the local community to improve their living conditions and environment sustainably. By addressing education, health, and ecological concerns, EBPP aims to create a self-sufficient model that can be replicated and managed by residents.
