Post-Pandemic Art Philanthropy Talk Show
The World Giving Index of 2019 research puts Indonesians at the forefront of contributing to helping strangers. However, PIRAC found that only 3% of respondents contributed to the arts sector in 2017. What is the current situation of art philanthropy? Is it true that the low interest in donating for art is still the same now? What are some strategies & initiatives to become philanthropists for art?
Koalisi Seni and Filantropi Indonesia managed the talk show “Post-Pandemic Art Philanthropy” at the Ruang Publik KBR.id program, July 8, 2020. The speakers that present were Amna Kusumo from the Yayasan Kelola, Ratri Ninditya from Koalisi Seni, Raden Maulana from Kolase.com and Dr. Dina Dellyana from HMGNC and SBM ITB. This event was also supported by the Ford Foundation.
This talk show is part of launching the book “Art Gives for Art”, which opens the way for all of us to become art philanthropists and advance the art ecosystem. Feel free to see along with the previous broadcast! ✨
The book “Art of Giving for Art” is available in the form of e-books which can be downloaded through https://filantropi.or.id/en/khazanah/art-gives-for-art
